HR Ambitions – ‘Navigating through your HR Career’

If any of these questions apply to you, our CIPD South London branch is running their annual "HR Ambitions" event on 1 February 2020 which is designed with you in mind. Participants who have attended this programme previously have gained a sense of career direction together with the desire to take action.
You can expect to receive career management tools, support with utilising social media, help with your CV writing and interview skills techniques and of course also have your questions answered.
Throughout the day there will be people sharing the benefits of Career Coaching and Mentoring in planning and developing your career. HR Professionals and past participants will share their path to achieving their HR Ambitions and of course this is the perfect opportunity for you to meet and network with fellow CIPD members.
You will benefit from interactive sessions with seasoned HR professionals who will help you to:
- Navigate the current recruitment market and explore the different routes available - Strengthen your resilience to allow you to cope and recover well from challenging situations- Gain real insight into the practical issues and pitfalls HR professionals **** at work and develop strate-gies to make your next move with confidence- Build a powerful support network by establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout your career- Set your personal career goals to allow you to take a planned approach to progressing your career- Ensure your CV is a good representation of your skills, knowledge, experience and potential and tailored to the job and person specification you’re applying for- Improve your interview technique
CV Clinics & Interview Practice sessions
We will be offering CV Clinics and Interview Practice Sessions on the day where you will get 121 advice on how to improve your CV and your interview technique.
If you wish to book CV Clinic and/or Interview Practice Session, please indicate so via your booking form. Once you've been allocated a slot and in order to help tailor the 121 session to your personal career ambitions, you'll be requested to send in your current CV and a job description/job title for the role you aspire to apply for - please have these ready no later than 1 week prior to the event taking place.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy
If you are unable to attend an event please give at least 1 working day notice and we will be happy to refund 100% of your booking fee or book you on to a subsequent event to the same value. Cancellations received after this time will be non transferable and non refundable.
Professional photography and video production may be taking place at the event, and these images may be used on future promotional materials for CIPD. Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any CIPD promotional materials.
