FREE Antenatal Classes
Antenatal classes help you prepare for the birth of your baby and learn how to care for your baby in the first few weeks.
All our courses include topics such as: Going into labour, how women can help themselves in labour and how birth supporters can help, recognising your baby's cues for feeding or comfort, breastfeeding, practical care of babies, safety concerns, your support network, and how life might change for you as a parent.
We recommend attending a session when you are 30-35 weeks pregnant. Please don’t book onto a session which runs too early in your pregnancy (before 28 weeks) as you will not get the maximum benefit out of the session.
There is only capacity for each woman to book onto one session – please do not book onto multiple sessions.
We run a number of classes throughout the city in a variety of locations and times, some are one day classes others are two/three shorter sessions. Please choose the location and time that suits you best but please only book onto ONE course. The same information will be covered in every class.
