RSM, the internal audit providers for North Yorkshire Police, are conducting a wellbeing review to ensure the Force has an appropriate framework in place to create a positive and healthy culture in support of the Force's commitment to improve staff wellbeing within the workplace.
As part of the review, we are looking to conduct a focus group including a mix of staff and officers at all levels at NYP. The aim of the focus group is to acquire feedback on the success of the Force's wellbeing strategies / campaigns.
The focus group will particularly address the following areas:
the effectiveness of communication of health and wellbeing campaigns;
the promotion of health and wellbeing through policies;
the appraisal process;
the effectiveness of welfare services;
the availability of welfare services;
communication to staff on the available support routes in place; and
training of staff to recognise any wellbeing issues. We would like opinions from a variety of staff members across all departments. All responses and feedback provided as part of the focus group will remain fully confidential.
