We all have our idols and for one girl growing up that was a singer and actress from a bygone age. From her beautiful voice to her comic timing, as an eight-year-old girl Sarah saw something special in Doris Day and knew she was someone she wanted to aspire to be like. Let Sarah Laing take you on a sentimental journey through the life of Doris Day featuring a selection of well-known songs including Secret Love, Pillow Talk and Que Sera Sera and some stories you perhaps didnt know before.
Previous audience responses:
"If you like Doris Day, you'll like this. If you don't know Doris Day, you'll be converted. Sarah has created a highly polished act that beautifully couples a selection of Doris Day's songs with background on her life and career. The singing was seamless and true to the era, the outfits were innovative and the sing-alongs were a wonderful trip down memory lane for many. I cannot recommend this enough."
"Really interesting and informative show beautifully sung and performed! Definitely worth seeing!"
"I have taken husband, who has dementia, and children in their thirties and grandchildren aged 8 and 12. They all loved her Doris Day show, and were singing Doris Day songs for days afterwards!! "Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps!"
