Bringing like-minded people together in a comfortable space where it's ok to talk and it's ok to be quiet too.

If you're feeling anxious in social situations, or maybe feeling shy or not good enough, this is a calm space for gently connecting with people of all ages who have similar stories, with no pressure to speak up or join in. Simply share space with genuinely understanding people who can be there for you if you need someone to talk to.

We'll be providing plenty of arts and crafts materials for you to creatively self-care and express yourself. You're welcome to also bring along your own projects to do, a book to read or join us simply with the intention of chatting to someone with a similar story over a cuppa!

We’re a community of understanding and a place for you to gently connect with other people, make friends, take time out for yourself and try new things, all at your own pace.

Every second Monday of the month at Cafe CHAOS, Truro.

Please contact Stacie with any questions, or if you'd like to be connected with someone before joining to ease any anxieties about attending. Email: stacie@

Dropping in on the day is fine, and it's helpful for us if you let us know you'll be joining us. When reserving your space, please donate what you can; every donation helps us to continue our much-needed work and support someone to reduce anxiety and isolation, and grow their confidence who would otherwise be unable to access help, and they're as grateful as we are. Thank you x

Here's what other people are saying...
"I'm so glad I found you. It's so nice to know that others are going through similar things. What I like most is being able to talk to others who have similar issues, learning how to overcome those using different techniques to control anxiety. It's been a great way of making new friends with similar stories."
- Claire
"I like the openness of the group and the way they greeted me when I first started a few months ago. They continue to show an interest and make me feel welcome."
- Jake

"I felt that the group put my mind at rest when thinking about speaking with people. Being around like minded people made me feel less isolated and boosted my confidence"
- Fi
"The best bit is that there’s no pressure to be anyone but yourself. Other people can relate to how hard and stressful it can be. It’s really good; a chilled atmosphere and no pressure to participate"
- Gemma
"I met some lovely people tonight and surprised myself by speaking out to the whole group! You are awesome. Thank you for this opportunity."
- Sarah
Spaces are limited so get your ticket early.

*Please pay what you can when choosing your ticket. As a social enterprise, every penny you're choosing to invest with us means we can support someone who's struggling to get the right help in overcoming feelings of social anxiety, shyness and self-doubt that have been holding them back in life.
Full-price tickets have enabled us to provide ******* interventions and affordable coaching for people who need it. For that person, this could mean feeling able to attend an appointment; starting to socialise; getting back to education; securing a job; taking steps to progress their career; or improving their health and wellbeing.
Thank you for your support.
