A rare opportunity to see two volumes of Audubon's Birds of America, some of the rarest books in the world, and learn more about their history, their conservation and a chance to see many of these incredibly illustrated birds close up as the pages are turned.
Join some of our team, Simon Savidge and Annie Starkey, as they talk about the history of the book, Audubon's links to Liverpool and not only do you get to ask our conservator anything, you get to see two of these incredible books close hand.
Free. Donations welcome.
Please note if the events are fully booked we have daily viewings of one of the Audubon Birds of America Monday to Friday at 11.30am. These can be signed up for in advance at our Enquire desk in Liverpool Central Library.
