Would you like to learn some simple ways to help you cope better with day to day stresses? This workshop is for you if:* You've heard about how mindfulness can help your wellbeing and would like to try it out for the first time. * You've practised in the past with a teacher, an app or on your own and you'd like a refresher or to practice with others.* You're thinking about taking a longer course and would like to try it out first.* You'd like an hour of peaceful ways to reduce your the circumstances we find ourselves in, we can learn to respond to them in a calmer, more and creative manner. Mindfulness is a way of staying in the present moment so we can be more aware of ourselves and our surroundings. It’s not about trying to forcibly change things, but instead trying to work with the way things are for better or for worse, and changing our responses. Mindfulness can't eliminate all life's pressures, but it can help us respond to them in a calmer manner that benefits our head, heart and body. This monthly session is a great introduction to mindfulness, or a way to connect with others and practice together and support our wellbeing.No prior experience is needed but by the end of the session you will have something to take away and use in daily life.
