University of Westminster
GB, London, 4–12 Little Titchfield Street, W1W 7BY
This event will be delivered by our distinguished guest and highly experienced international corporate lawyer Mr Rauf Khalilov, who will be sharing his legal experience about the life of an international lawyer and what it is like to work in two different countries periodically. The event will end up with Q&A session and we would encourage all our members to actively participate.
Rauf Khalilov is a solicitor advocate and the branch manager of the Mergul Law Branch of Morgan Has Solicitors in London. Rauf has an LL.B., a LL.M from UCL and was called to the Bar in 2008, having won the prestigious Harmsworth Scholarship from Middle Temple. Rauf qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and since that he has been working particularly in personal injury, commercial litigation, employment law and advocacy. Rauf is also fluent in six languages: Azerbaijani, Talysh, Russian, Turkish, English and Persian, which enables him to communicate widely and effectively with a variety of people from different cultures and backgrouds. The mere fact of having this sub-discipline indicates his ability to concentrate and deploy his language skills in the legal practice.
After the event we will be going to the pub to socialise and it will be an opportunity to get to know our new society members.
ELSA Westminster look forward to seeing you all.
