Friends Meeting House
GB, Belfast, 45 Frederick Street, BT1 2LW
The North Belfast Heritage Cluster is a group of Listed Building owners who are coming together to improve access and awareness of their buildings as social and public assets, and to stimulate wider urban repair of the area. Some of the buildings centre around Clifton Street home to some of Belfast’s most significant historic buildings and once one of the finest avenues into the city.
The urban fracture of the area has mainly been caused by road widening and the Westlink. The group reflects a rich diversity including the Indian Centre and a former Synagogue. The Tour will start at Friends Meeting House at 1pm and stop at Carlisle Memorial Church. Tour led by architect Mark Hackett.
