Drop-in Meditation for grounding and body awareness Using an approach that helps us disengage from our thoughts, and come back into awareness of our body. Helpful for working with ungroundedness, speedy thinking, and agitation. We use our thoughts and thinking all the time to navigate our daily routine and tackle new experiences, but we often forget about our body, assuming that it will just come along with us, wherever we want to go. Our thinking mind tends to override our body, but the body also has its own wisdom, giving us all kinds of signals about how to take care of ourselves and find our way through life without too much stress or overwhelm. Practising body-focussed meditation is a way of finding our way back to being able to hear those signals, and feel more grounded in our body and in our life.
